SEO articles for custom websites via webhook

Not every business website runs on a mainstream builder. Agencies build on headless CMSs, developers maintain static sites, and some businesses have a system nobody wants to touch. For those, StrideRank sends each finished article to a webhook URL you control, as JSON, signed so your server can verify it really came from us. Your endpoint stores or publishes the article however your stack works and replies with the article’s ID and public URL. It is also the only connection that delivers ready-made JSON-LD schema with every article.

What the request contains

An event name, a timestamp and the article: title, slug, HTML body, meta title, meta description, images with URL and alt text, the JSON-LD schema and an external ID for updates. A ping event lets you test the endpoint before the first real article.

Signed against forgery and replay

Each request carries a signature header with a timestamp and an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body, computed with a shared secret of at least 32 characters. Your server recomputes it, compares in constant time and rejects anything older than five minutes.

What your endpoint answers

Reply with a JSON object containing your ID for the article and its public URL. StrideRank stores both, so later updates go to the same article and reporting can match Search Console data to the right page.

Common questions

Does the endpoint have to be HTTPS?
Yes. Plain HTTP addresses are rejected, and redirects are not followed.
What if my site has no blog at all?
The webhook needs something on your side that can publish a page. A hosted blog on a subdomain for sites without one is being built and is not available yet.
