Why GoDaddy can’t be connected automatically
GoDaddy has no interface that lets other services create blog posts. No tool can publish there for you, so StrideRank offers two other ways. You choose one when you connect your website, and you can switch any time.

Use a hosted blog
StrideRank publishes your articles on a blog website in your StrideRank account, in your colors, at an address like yourbusiness.striderank.com/blog. If your account already has a website there, the articles appear on it under /blog instead.
Choose the hosted blog
In StrideRank, open Settings → SEO autopilot and go to Publishing, or use the connect step during setup. Only owners and admins of the account can change it. Pick GoDaddy, then Use a hosted blog. StrideRank sets up the blog and checks it.
Open your blog address
The publishing settings show the address of your blog. Open it once to see your articles and the design.
Link it from your GoDaddy site
In GoDaddy, go to Websites + Marketing, select Manage next to your site, then Edit Website. Click + Add and choose New External Link. Enter a Link Title such as “Blog” (up to 25 characters) and paste your blog address into Website URL. Keep Show in Navigation on, click Create Link and then Publish.
Visitors and Google find the hosted blog through that link and through the articles themselves. Want it under your own address, like blog.yourbusiness.com? Contact us — we set that up with you.
Copy & paste
Choose copy & paste
In StrideRank, open Settings → SEO autopilot and go to Publishing, or use the connect step during setup. Only owners and admins of the account can change it. Pick GoDaddy, then Copy & paste.
Wait for the next article
When an article is ready, we let you know. It waits for you in StrideRank under Articles.
Paste it into GoDaddy
Open the article in StrideRank and click Copy. In GoDaddy, go to Websites + Marketing, select Manage and Edit Website, open your blog section, add a new post, paste the article and publish. If your GoDaddy site runs on WordPress instead, use Connect WordPress — that connects automatically.
Articles stay in StrideRank until you have pasted them. Nothing goes live on your site without you.

Questions
Will StrideRank ever publish to GoDaddy directly?
Only if GoDaddy offers a way to create blog posts from outside. Until then, the hosted blog and copy & paste are the two ways that work.
Can I switch from copy & paste to the hosted blog later?
Yes. Open the publishing settings in StrideRank and choose the other way. Articles you already pasted stay where they are.
