Before you start
Duda gives API access to its partners (agencies and resellers) on plans that include it. If someone else built your site on Duda, ask them — they hold the API access, not the site owner.
- The site needs a blog (in the Duda editor: Blog → Start a blog).
- You need the API user name and password from Business tools → API access in the Duda partner dashboard.
- Check whether your account runs on Duda’s US or EU servers. Most accounts use the US servers.
Connect step by step
Find the site name
Open the site in the Duda editor. The address looks like
editor.duda.co/home/site/1a2b3c4d— the last part (1a2b3c4d) is the site name.Get the API credentials
In the partner dashboard, open Business tools → API access and copy the API user and password.
Open the publishing settings
In StrideRank, open Settings → SEO autopilot and go to Publishing. Only owners and admins of the account can change the connection. Choose Duda.
Enter the details
Paste the site name, the address of your blog (for example
https://yourbusiness.com/blog) and the API user and password. Choose Europe only if your account uses the EU servers.Save and test
Click Save connection, then Test connection. The test reads the site’s blog through the API.
Good to know
- Duda lets us add a post but not change its text later. When an article is revised, we add the new version, remove the old one and keep the same address.
- Automatic updates in the background are therefore switched off on Duda: Duda does not tell us whether someone edited the post, and we never overwrite your work blindly.
- The first image of the article becomes the post’s main image and thumbnail.
- Your contact form appears in each article as a clear button that opens your StrideRank form page — these systems clean up forms inside blog text, so a link is the reliable way.
- Choose Draft if you want to publish each post in Duda yourself.
| Message | What to check |
|---|---|
| Your Duda plan does not include API access | API access is part of Duda’s partner plans. Ask Duda or the agency that manages the site. |
| Duda rejected the credentials | Copy the API user and password again from Business tools → API access. |
| Duda could not find the target | Check the site name and the region (US or Europe). |
Questions
I own a Duda site but have no API access. Can I connect?
Not directly. Duda gives API access to partners only. Use Copy & paste in StrideRank, or ask the agency that built your site to connect it.
