Four steps, once. Then WordPress fills itself.
No developer, no FTP, no copied passwords. Everything happens on screens you already know from WordPress.
- Step 1 Upload
Upload the plugin
Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP, install, activate. Just like any other plugin.
- Step 2 Connect
Connect with one click
WordPress opens its own “Authorize Application” screen. You approve, WordPress creates an application password only for StrideRank. Nobody types or copies a password.
- Step 3 Publish
Articles appear in WordPress
New articles land in your post list as regular WordPress posts — with images, author and category. With your approval first, or on autopilot.
- Step 4 Rank
Google sees everything
Every article carries its SEO title, meta description and structured data (JSON-LD). Search engines read what you would otherwise fill in by hand.
The same article. Two very different search results.
Without a dedicated SEO title and description, Google often builds the snippet from whatever it finds. The plugin hands over the values written for exactly this search.

Reads the consent from your cookie banner
WP Consent API and every tool that supports it. Any other tool can pass consent with one line of JavaScript.
Two modes, your choice
- No cookies, no local storage
- Visitors’ IP addresses are not stored
- No fingerprinting, no personal profile

Built the WordPress way. Nothing hidden.
The plugin uses WordPress’ own mechanisms instead of shortcuts. You can see — and revoke — everything it does.
You never share a password
Connecting uses WordPress application passwords. Your login password never leaves WordPress.
Revocable at any time
Users → Profile → Application Passwords: one click and StrideRank has no access anymore.
Only what publishing needs
StrideRank talks to the WordPress REST API to create posts, upload images and set SEO fields. No FTP, no hosting login, no database access.
Updates like any plugin
Checks for new versions at most every 12 hours. Update with one click under Dashboard → Updates — or switch on automatic updates.
Open source, GPL v2
Licensed like WordPress itself. The code is in the ZIP — readable, without encryption or obfuscation.
Uninstall leaves no traces
Deleting the plugin removes its settings and its own post fields, on multisite for every site. Values already in Yoast or Rank Math stay.
Installation, step by step
Five steps, no file to unzip, nothing to configure by hand.
Download the ZIP with the button above. Leave it zipped.
In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin and click “Upload Plugin” at the top.
Choose the ZIP, click “Install Now”, then “Activate Plugin”.
In the left menu, open StrideRank SEO → Connection and click “Connect with StrideRank”.
Confirm in StrideRank, then click “Yes, I approve of this connection” on the WordPress screen. Done.
Questions about the plugin, answered.
In StrideRank, open Settings → Publishing: there you can download the plugin and connect your site directly.
Open StrideRankDoes the plugin cost anything?
No. The plugin is free and licensed under GPL v2. The articles themselves come with a StrideRank plan.
Do I need Yoast SEO or another SEO plugin?
No. If Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active, title and description go into their fields; All in One SEO and SEOPress receive them through their filters. Without an SEO plugin, the StrideRank SEO plugin outputs title and description itself.
Does it work with my theme or page builder?
Articles are regular WordPress posts. Your theme displays them with its normal post template — including templates built with a page builder’s theme builder. Nothing about your design changes.
I have several WordPress sites. Does that work?
Yes. Install the plugin on each site and connect each one separately — every site gets its own application password. On WordPress multisite, uninstalling cleans up every site of the network.
What happens when I uninstall the plugin?
The plugin’s settings and its own post fields are removed. Published articles stay, and so do values already written into Yoast SEO or Rank Math. The application password stays until you revoke it in your profile.
Which data does the plugin send, and where?
Publishing runs the other way: StrideRank calls your site’s REST API. The optional visitor counter sends page path, referring site and campaign parameters to app.striderank.com — with consent also time on page, scroll depth and phone taps. No cookies, and IP addresses are not stored.
Why does it need HTTPS?
WordPress only offers application passwords on secure sites. Without HTTPS, the “Connect” button stays unavailable and the settings page explains why.
How do I disconnect?
Revoke the application password under Users → Profile → Application Passwords. From that moment StrideRank can no longer publish. You can connect again at any time.
Install once. Publish every week.
Upload once, connect with one click — then your articles appear in WordPress by themselves.
