Approved keywords become articles
Open Keywords in the sidebar. The autopilot only writes about keywords you have approved. Approve a suggestion and it is placed in the calendar under Articles — one article per day, up to the monthly allowance of your plan.
When all approved keywords are planned, the Articles page shows “Your plan runs until …” with a link back here. Approve more keywords and the calendar fills up again.
Finding new keywords
- Find topics opens a quick search (for example “Find easy wins near me”). You can run 30 quick searches per website and month. Results are filtered to your trade and your area; suggestions without search data are left out.
- A full keyword research runs automatically after the website analysis and can run up to 10 times per website and month.
- Import takes a CSV file with one keyword per line (search volume optional). Duplicates and empty lines are skipped; a volume that is not a number is ignored and the keyword is imported without it — the import tells you which lines.
Search volumes
Each keyword shows one estimate of monthly Google searches, labelled local (searches in your area, when Google has that number) or nationwide. The same number appears in Keywords, Articles and the Overview. Estimates come from Google data and are not a promise of visitors.
Good keywords for local businesses
The best keywords combine a service with your town (“water heater repair Austin”) or answer a question customers ask before they call. Very broad terms like “plumbing” rarely bring calls. Keywords from other states, or with a different meaning such as prices of heating oil, are filtered out automatically.
Questions
Why are there no articles planned next month?
All approved keywords are already planned. Approve more keywords under Keywords and the calendar fills up again.
Can I add my own topic?
Yes — under Articles click “Add topic”, enter the search term and a day. The article is written for that day.
