How articles are counted
- The allowance belongs to your account, not to a single website: on Pro, the articles are shared across up to three websites.
- An article counts when it is planned — that is when the content plan reserves it. Writing and publishing it later costs nothing extra.
- A rewrite counts as one article.
- The allowance starts fresh on the 1st of each month. If a plan would exceed it, planning pauses and continues on the 1st by itself.
- Articles per month in the settings can be at most your plan’s allowance.
Other limits
- Website analysis and keyword research can each run up to 10 times per website and month. Your existing analysis and keywords stay when the limit is reached.
- Each month has a processing budget that covers research and writing. Normal use stays well below it; it exists to stop runaway costs. If it is used up, remaining tasks pause and continue on the 1st.
- Adding a website beyond your plan is refused with a message; your existing websites and articles stay as they are.
Hitting a limit never deletes anything. Upgrading raises the limits right away.
Questions
Do unused articles carry over to the next month?
No. The allowance starts fresh on the 1st of each month.
Does a rewrite count against my allowance?
Yes. A rewrite costs the same research and writing as a new article, so it counts as one.
