Delete a website

Remove a website with its keywords, plan and drafts.

Last updated October 7, 2026

How to delete

  1. Open the settings

Choose the website in Autopilot, open Settings and scroll to Danger zone at the bottom. Only owners and admins of the account see it.

  2. Confirm with the name

Click Delete website and type the website’s name as it appears in the website picker. The button unlocks once the name matches.

Deleting also works without an active subscription, so you can clean up after cancelling. It cannot be undone.

What is deleted and what stays

Deleted together with the website:

  • Keywords and the content plan
  • All articles in StrideRank, including drafts and scheduled ones
  • The publishing connection and its stored credentials
  • The Google link and all metrics, including AI visibility

Not deleted:

  • Articles that were already published — they stay on your website until you remove them there.
  • This month’s usage — articles already written still count toward your monthly limit. Deleting and adding the website again does not reset it.

StrideRank deletes its stored copy of your credentials, but the access itself stays valid on the other side. Revoke it there — for example the WordPress application password or the Shopify app. To revoke Google’s access too, click Disconnect on the Google card before you delete the website.
